Earlier this week, Levelland Mayor Breann Buxkemper took time out of her busy schedule to visit ABC and share the joy of reading with our students! Each year, ABC Librarian Mrs. Abi Swain invites members of the Levelland community to read to our youngest Lobos. These visits are about so much more than sharing a good book. They give our students an opportunity to meet community leaders, learn about the people who serve Levelland, and begin imagining all the possibilities their own futures may hold. You never know which person, story, or conversation might spark a dream in a child or inspire what they want to become someday. We are so thankful for Mayor Buxkemper and all of our wonderful community members who invest their time in our students.
