Pig the Pug is a Favorite
Our ABC Littles have had the best learning experience in the ABC Library with Librarian Mrs. Abi Swain! They’ve been enjoying all the hilarious Pig the Pug books by Aaron Blabey. The Pig the Pug series follows Pig, a greedy little pug with a big personality and an even bigger love for things that don’t belong to him! Throughout the story series, Pig learns some tough and funny lessons about sharing, honesty, kindness, and friendship, and usually the hard way. With silly rhymes, bold illustrations, and laugh-out-loud moments, these books quickly became favorites for our Littles while also reinforcing important character traits. To wrap up their reading adventure, our ABC Littles put their thinking to work by voting for their favorite Pig the Pug book! Students reviewed the stories, made their choices, and cast their votes! Thank you Mrs. Swain for teaching firsthand about the democratic process and helping students understand how their voice matters. If you haven't read Pig the Pug, you should!
