GT's Imagination Station

It was a big day for our ABC GT students! The ABC Gifted and Talented students invited the community to visit their very own Imagination Station. This semester, students created the Imagination Station to inspire creativity and encourage everyone to think outside the box. In a world that can sometimes feel routine, their goal was to spark imagination, build confidence, and remind visitors that it is never too late to create something new. Guests paid a small fee to experience the station and enjoy a variety of hands-on activities. Visitors made friendship bracelets, put their STEM skills to work by engineering with LEGOs, created refrigerator magnet art to take home, and enjoyed a sweet treat after all their hard work. The GT students who designed and operated the Imagination Station Store took their roles seriously. They made sure security was in place, served as cashiers and counted change, assigned a manager to oversee the experiences, and had “Little Experts” guide each activity. Students also punched participation cards as guests completed each station. ABC students hope every guest left with a smile, confidence in their abilities, and a renewed spark of creativity. Thank you to Ms. Winegeart for directing GT students in their studies of careers last semester and this amazing project this semester.
