Peck's Pizza Parlor
ABC first graders have been learning all about shapes, halves, and fourths! To celebrate their hard work, Mrs. Peck transformed her room into the PECK'S PIZZA PARLOR. Mrs.Peck's class created their very own shape pizzas. Each student designed a pizza and added their favorite toppings using different shapes. After building their pizzas, they decided how many slices to cut them into to practice dividing them into halves and fourths. It was a fun and hands-on way to practice math skills! To make the day even better, the students dressed the part and finished the celebration with some real pizza, of course! What a great way to celebrate shapes and measurements, and now you have a new tongue twister too!
