Everyone can use a hero, and at Levelland ABC they are hunting heroes! LISD Superintendent Dr. Heseman kicked off the ABC Reading with Heroes Program this morning. He read a Pete the Cat Crayons Rock by Kimberly & James Dean to a class of PK students. The lesson in the book is that there are no mistakes in art, and art should come from the heart. This was a rewarding experience for Dr. Heseman, too and reminded him of reading to his children when they were young.
