Therapy Animal Proclamation

ABC teamed up with Levelland Mayor Barbra Pinner for a new City of Levelland Proclamation for The Alliance of Therapy Dogs Day today. Mrs. Pinner declared today, April 30th as National Therapy Animal Day. The perfect place to do this was at ABC where they actually have a certified therapy dog working with children. Although therapy animals are not only in schools, Mrs. Pinner declared that therapy animals play an essential role in improving human health and well-being through the human-animal bond and she publicly saluted the service of therapy animals teams in our community! Thank you, Mayor Pinner, for noticing great things happening with Therapy Animals and promoting the City of Levelland and LISD! They were joined by LISD Superintendent Jeff Northern, LISD Board Vice President Carrie Ellis, ABC Principal Mrs. Ashley Howard, Mayor Barbra Pinner, Brenley Perez, and Tammy Perez.
