LIFE Grants

The LIFE Foundation hosted another LIFE Grant Event today. In addition to the eleven grants totaling $5,662 earlier this year, LIFE awarded five more LISD teachers with grants totaling $2340. At ABC, Music Teacher Joanna Forbes and PE Teacher Eve Gerber received money that will help every ABC student learn. We thank LIFE for helping to fill our classrooms with STEAM activities and helping our students have 21st-Century innovative minds. LIFE operates solely on donations and fundraisers. If you would like to help out students and teachers, you can make a LIFE donation at City Bank or Hockley County School Employees Credit Union. Thank you to Lillian Northcutt for bringing the cheerleaders, Evan Seidel for bringing the drumline, to Superintendent McCutchen, and to the LIFE Board for helping to make these grants a "big deal."
