LIFE Grants Given

Well the LIFE Foundation did it again! LIFE gave eleven Levelland ISD educators monetary grants totaling $5,662.71 today. LIFE donates money to LISD teachers to make their out-of-the-box ideas come to fruition. Four teachers ABC received grants: Tammy Branch received Multipurpose Equipment & Area for her classroom. Emily McWaters will get a light table, while Aleesha Smith will get new sensory pathways for her students. Brittany Dagley will have money to purchase coding programs for FunCodeFridays in the computer lab. These projects are amazing and wouldn't be possible without The LIFE Foundation! We thank LIFE for helping to fill our classrooms with these projects that keep our students ahead of the learning curve! LIFE operates solely on donations and fundraisers. If you would like to help out students and teachers, you can make a LIFE donation at City Bank or Hockley County School Employees Credit Union. Thank you to Lillian Northcutt for bringing the cheerleaders, to Mr. Evan Seidel for bringing the drumline, to Superintendent McCutchen, and to the LIFE Board for helping to make these grants a "big deal."
